Eduk8 celebrates 20 years in educational toy supply with a host of award-winning ranges at London Toy Fair

UK Educational Toy Designers and Distributors Eduk8 Worldwide Ltd.® will be showcasing a number of award-winning toys and new product launches at the prestigious Toy Fair exhibition. The exciting display coincides with their 20th anniversary celebrations, having started the company in 2001.

Christine Lawson, Director at Eduk8, said, “We are so excited to be able to show such a wealth of innovation and quality in educational toy products. It is especially poignant for us as we are commemorating 20 years of success as UK designers and distributors in this sector and we are finally able to celebrate with both existing and new customers at this long-awaited return to the Toy Fair exhibition.”

As an exclusive UK distributor for The Mark MakersTM range, visitors will be able to view the activity and storybooks, which are an introduction to a fun prewriting program that uses characters to help children from as young as 5 months to develop writing skills through making basic marks. Book author Rachel Fay will be popping onto the Eduk8 stand throughout the fair to answer queries and for media opportunities. Rachel’s view is that the more that children have fun mark making and developing their motor skills, the more prepared and confident they will be when it comes to writing at school.

The well-known Tangles collection will also be on display, including the new Tangle Palm.  Used to improve fine motor skills and to relax those with sensory issues, the range is exclusively distributed by Eduk8 within the UK education sector.

Two new product designs – Threading Shapes and Fitness Dice – will be available to view throughout the exhibition.  Threading Shapes aids colour and shape recognition and is available in a range of new colours and packaging.  Fitness Dice is a great new family game from the Eduk8 designers, where parents and children can enjoy a fast and furious session of fun and physical activity together.

The award-winning Playmats range will also feature on the stand, available in a range of sizes and designs including Farm, Zoo, City and Under the Sea.

Also fresh to the stand will be Eduk8’s collaboration with Incredible HuskTM International – inventors of a fibre-based, negative carbon alternative to plastics and bioplastics.

CEO Keith Ridgeway will be on-stand throughout the show to answer questions on the World Green Apple Environment Award-winning material, which provides a plastic-free real durable alternative for toys and other products.

Eduk8 is the UK distributor for educational toys made using the naturally biodegradable and chemical-free rice husk material and will be displaying initial product ranges on the stand.

Christine said, “The Incredible Husk biodegradable toy material marks a significant step in delivering sustainability within the educational toy sector.  We are proud to be collaborating on this innovation into the market and look forward to talking to educational toy distributors and retailers about the exciting possibilities that the use of rice husk can bring to the green manufacturing process.”
